Amber Lee was born of mixed ancestry rooted in the Andes and in the Hawaiian Islands. Raised between South America, Hawai’i, and different cities throughout North America, she grew up with an intimate knowledge of how people and place are in relation. Early childhood experiences revealed to her how different cultures behold different levels of privilege, and initiated her to the path of lending an intentional hand and a voice for those less heard.

On a mission to be of service to others, Amber intended to join the path of Western Medicine. However, after finding herself not aligning with this way, she was called to study Eastern Philosophy and Medicine. Amber’s pursuit for equality and justice eventually led her to receive a BA in Political Science & International Relations, and was pre-law as she intended to specialize in Human Rights Law. A fateful detour would take her on a personal journey of healing and transformation, and ultimately lead her to the Healing Arts once again.

As a way of directly supporting people, Amber has created a holistic career sharing her nurturing gifts of hands-on healing, creative consulting, and group facilitation work. Nearly a decade of study and experience in the Creative & Healing Arts has resulted in her comprehensive practice now known as Plant As Compass. As an Esalen Massage Practitioner & Reiki Master, Amber skillfully brings science and spirit together for healing.

When not immersed in her private practice, Amber shares her passion for education and community through a rich and diverse programming of events, workshops, trainings, and retreats. You may join a diverse community of healers, heart-workers, and conscious creatives at any one of her intentional productions. As a Healing Arts Practitioner, Creative Director, and Group Facilitator, her mission is to generate wellbeing and connection on a universal level, in a beautiful and accessible way.
